Cottage 3 stars in Rouffignac Saint Cernin de Reilhac

in the heart of the Périgord Noir

In the heart of the Périgord Noir, surrounded by castles, decorated caves and the Vézère, our region offers you the choice of walks, visits, cultural discoveries, gastronomy and relaxation around the rivers (canoeing, fishing…).

1 km from the centre of the village of Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac (24580), a driveway of poplars leads you to an old forge completely renovated.

It is in this heaven of peace that I welcome you, thanks to 3 stone gites each with their own private spa open year round.

Come admire the starry sky devoid of light pollution with your feet in the water.

You can enjoy your private terrace and the 1,5 hectare garden (not closed). I have 3 dogs that will certainly come your way.

The 3 gites were classified 3* by Etoiles de France in January 2021.

In the village, 1 km away, 2 charging stations for electric cars are available.

THE HOST

After 11 years spent in the Philippines, I decided to settle in this beautiful region of Périgord.

You will receive an open and friendly welcome from your host Christine, who is always available to help with information or advice.

Christine's culinary experience, and her love for cooking also allow, if you wish, to discover the cuisine of the Philippines, different, tasty and authentic.

I use fresh and local quality products.

TÉMOIGNAGES

We spent a night in the Basile gite: what a delight! Not only does Christine send you all the directions you need to get there without getting lost when you book, but she'll also tell you about all the activities in the area. What's more, on the big day, she'll welcome you in person to show you around the gite and explain in detail the history of the house and everything you need to know to have a great stay - it's not as cold as a box of keys. The Basile gîte is a cocoon just the way you like it, with everything you need, nothing missing, no need to bring half your house in your luggage. The decor is brilliant, the place is full of little objects found here and there, you feel right at home. The jacuzzi is very pleasant, and a little session under the stars is possible and recommended. In short, we'll be coming back without hesitation as we were so taken with the place and our host, an address to remember.

We had a great weekend at Christine's, with a baby and a dog, and everything went really well. The folding bed already set up was really nice. We made the most of the jacuzzi. The place is quiet and peaceful. Christine is a very welcoming host. We would recommend this gîte if you want to spend a relaxing weekend.
